Spain scores late for 2-1 win over Sweden

INNSBRUCK, Austria - David Villa scored in injury time Saturday to give Spain a 2-1 win over Sweden that moved it to the verge of the quarterfinals of the European Championship.
Villa showed a stunning burst for so late in a match, surging between two defenders for a long pass, then poking the ball to the left of charging goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson for the victory. It was his fourth goal of the tournament.
Sweden's Zlatan Ibrahimovic had tied it in the 34th minute following Fernando Torres' 15th-minute goal.
Spain has six points in Group D, three more than Sweden.
